I offer online Study Skills Workshops for all students aged 11 and upwards.
For students aged 11 upwards
All dyslexic students from 11 years upwards can benefit from specific Study Skills. This includes
students who are in Secondary Education and those who are in, or about to start, University.
Each one-hour Study Skills workshop is designed to help individual students to learn methods and
manage specific gaps they may have in:
- Managing their Time and Organising their Workload
- Giving Presentations (individually and with a group)
- Essay Planning
- Analysing and Answering Essay Questions
- Writing Assignments
- Revision and Examination Techniques, including Memory strategies.
All Study Skills workshops include strategies for a student to support Wellbeing and promote a
positive Mindset. Assistive Technology will be used or recommended where appropriate.
For University students
Students who are in, or about to start, Higher Education (university) can also benefit from
developing their skills and managing any gaps they may have in:
- Note-taking and Note-Making for Lectures
- Reading Strategies
- Critical Thinking
- Planning and Managing a Dissertation.
